The roses are groups of wizard who are mortal enemies and fought in the war of the roses. The white rose, led by Jessamine Longbranch, fought the Red Rose, led by Geoffry Wylie. After years, the two groups ended the war after knowing niether group had the advantage and created the game. The game consisted of 2 warriors fighting like gladiotors in a ring and whoever won got to have power over the other group. They did this for centuries until Jack Swift and Ellen Stephenson, 2 warriors, refused to kill one another and the roses changed the rules, stirring the dragon. The battlefeild erupted with dead warriors, the dragon, and killed the judges. They then changed the rules ending the game and wizard leadership over other wiers.
